Ethiopian pilots suspended after they fell asleep and forgot to land | Abroad

It concerns flight ET343 of 15 August. The pilots discovered that they had long passed their final destination. They had flown 11 kilometers over the airport of the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, where they were supposed to land. To reach it, they turned around and flew back 25 minutes. The airline is investigating the matter and has also determined that the pilots have been out of range of air traffic control for some time. The flight ended without any problems, although the planned time of arrival had already passed.
