eSports: XXL week of Valorant Challengers: G2 and Fnatic cheer

In the Valorant Challengers double-match week for the EMEA region, Fnatic and G2 Esports notched up key wins en route to the playoffs. A total of ten games were played over the weekend in the region, which is also important for European teams.

G2 celebrated its successes against the teams of BBL Esports and Guild Esports without losing any maps. Fnatic did the same in the duels with Supermassive Blaze and Acend.

The former world champions Acend then had little luck at the second appearance of the week: Surprisingly, the e-sportsmen lost against the Turkish team from BBL Esports. The Valorant weekend was also without a win for BIG. The Berlin e-sports organization had to admit defeat in the duels with Natus Viencere and Team Liquid.

Out of twelve teams from the EMEA region, which includes Europe, eleven were deployed. Only the Russian team from Gambit Esports sat out. Neither the team nor the organizer gave a reason.

Games were previously canceled and postponed due to the war in Ukraine. Several of these games have now been rescheduled.
