eSports: Mouz not in the CS:GO Major

BIG is there, the second German team is not: Mouz missed qualifying for the upcoming “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” major at the regional tournament with a defeat against Team Vitality.

“It’s tough and I’m beyond sad. I didn’t perform as well as I wanted,” Mouz newcomer Jon “JDC” de Castro wrote on Twitter. “It was only my debut, but I wanted so much more.”

With JDC promoted from the Academy team, Mouz played with a German player for the first time since 2017. However, the Hamburg organization lost out against Vitality and lost a close duel 1:2 (16:13; 11:16; 13:16).

Saw barely missed a surprise. At the Portuguese match point, Outsiders only managed to defuse the bomb by a fraction of a second in the last round and prevailed in overtime.

Eternal Fire, featuring ex-BIG player İsmailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş, also made it to the Major taking place in Antwerp, Belgium in May, knocking out two bigger names along the way with Fnatic and finally OG.
