A horse collided with a car on the Udensedijk in Mill on Thursday morning. The horse had escaped from the pasture a little further away. The horse was seriously hit and was put out of its misery by a veterinarian.
The horse had escaped from the pasture together with another horse. That horse was not injured and has since been recovered. The motorist was not injured. The road is closed to traffic.
