“I don’t care about rumors! I’m still happy with Bayern,” said Joao Palhinha, who had switched from FC Fulham to the German record champions in 2024, cleared in an interview with “Bild”.
At the same time, the 29-year-old made no secret of FC Bayern with other expectations. Only 20 competitive games are available for him, many of them as a joker.
“Of course I want things going differently, this season was not easy for me this season,” said Palhinha, but added combative: “This is not the first time in my career. And I’m also here because I did some things very well beforehand.”
And further: “I know what I can do and I will fight for my mission times. I want to win titles here.”
Leon Goretzka as a model at FC Bayern
Palhinha could encourage the way of a teammate: Leon Goretzka was already written off in the back series, but worked back to the team and recently even again in the DFB selection of national coach Julian Nagelsmann.
“Yes, he can be a role model. We get along well. He deserves it, you have to praise him for it,” the Portuguese found positive words for his recovered teammate.

According to “Sky”, there is no early separation anyway. Palhinha’s remaining in Munich has not yet been secured beyond the end of the season, but the Bundesliga leader is not actively striving for borrowing or a sale, the TV station said.
Palhinha, who wanted to move to Munich as early as 2023, was tied to FC Bayern until 2028 before the deal bursted on the home stretch.
