Clapton has had few positive words for Johnson in the past. Above all, he sharply criticized his corona policy. When it was announced almost a year ago that a vaccination was necessary to attend a concert in Great Britain, Clapton commented as follows.
“I would like to announce that I will not perform on any stage where part of the audience is discriminated against. Unless all people are scheduled to attend, I reserve the right to cancel the show.”
