Bietigheim-Bissingen, June 29, 2025-Dürr AG announces the sale of its environmental technology business (Division Clean Technology Systems Environmental) to a subsidiary of Stortex Capital Management LLC (Stellex). Dürr remains involved in the environmental technology of around 25 % in the amount of around 25 %. The contract for the sale was signed today; The enforcement (closing) is subject to the usual approval obligations and is expected for the fourth quarter of 2025.
In 2024, environmental technology generated sales of € 407 million. The company value for the environmental technology business is around € 385 million. In relation to the costs for the acquisition of the return participation and other transaction-related costs, the Dürr Group expects a net sales proceeds of around € 250 million. This is to be used by reducing debt to strengthen the group. With the transaction, Dürr completes the simplification of the group structure and in future focuses exclusively on the core business around the sustainable automation of production processes.
Due to the expected net sales proceeds, Dürr AG fits its forecast for the net finance status on December 31, 2025 to -250 to -300 million € (previously: -500 to -550 €).
By selling environmental technology and the sale of the Agramkow Group, which had already been sold in 2024, the group sales are reduced by around 10 %. Against this background, Dürr is currently checking its administrative structures. The aim is to adapt the administrative area to the new company size and at the same time make it more efficient.
