Enkhuizer music pride Claude provides supporting act for Stromae in sold-out Ziggo Dome

The madness around singer Claude, who lives in Enkhuizen, seems to know no bounds. No fewer than three times in April Claude Kiambe (19), as he is really called, can provide the support act for ‘his’ great example Stromae. And that in a sold-out Ziggo Dome.

Claude doesn’t know what hit him. He is the most popular Dutch artist of the moment. With his mega hit ‘Ladada‘, which he released last October, Claude storms the charts. All kinds of radio stations play his single, which has been listened to more than 6 million times on Spotify. For his presentations he receives at the end of January a Gold Plateduring a showcase at Eurosonic Noorderslag.

Get started this month the 19-year-old singer released a French-English version of his original Dutch-French hit. It has now been picked up by radio stations in more than fifteen countries, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland. “It’s really bizarre. Everyone reacts so enthusiastically to the song. There is a lot of enthusiasm among other labels to release it,” manager Sophie Paasse previously told NH Nieuws.

In 2019, Claude decided participate in The Voice Kids. He auditioned with the song Papaoutai by Stromae, his great example – he is also called the Dutch Stromae. He then turned all the chairs and finally made it to the Battles.
