The squad of the England national football team that will compete in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar has been announced.


Coach Gareth Southgate has added names such as Leicester City’s James Maddison, Manchester City’s Kyle Walker, Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire to the 26-man squad.


Milan’s Fikayo Tomori, Brentford’s Ivan Toney and West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen, who were said to be in the squad, were not called up to the national team.


England will face the USA, Iran and Wales in Group B.
