Career Stuart Pearce
All media in England are making a big deal about the sad news. Stuart Pearce is a popular figure on the other side of the North Sea. The 63-year-old Londoner played 78 international matches for The Three Lions, ten of which as captain.
After his football career – at Nottingham Forrest, Newcastle United, West Ham United and Manchester City, among others – Pearce was also active as a manager. He was at the helm of Manchester City and Young England. In 2012 he even briefly served as interim member of the national team.
