The tree frog is back in the woods between Breda and Tilburg. Some time ago an 11 -kilometer connecting zone was built here to link a few small nature reserves together, so that these animals can move more easily. According to the Brabantse Delta Water Board, this has led to a sharp increase in the number of tree frogs, one of the strongest endangered amphibious species in the Netherlands.
