At Forbo Novilon there will be a strike from Monday. Trade union FNV calls on its supporters to stop working after the company’s management allowed an ulitmatum to pass.
FNV calls on the evening shift on Sunday, which starts at 10 p.m., to stop working. Monday morning at 6 am there is an action at the gate of the company in Coevorden.
FNV called on the management of Forbo last Wednesday to respond to collective labor agreement proposals. The union is asking, among other things, for a wage increase of at least 14 percent. Forbo was given until 6 p.m. Sunday to respond. The company did not.
For FNV, the employees have reason to call for an indefinite suspension of work.
