Emma Clark (41) from Esbeek is very happy. She found her dream man who met her at the end of May during the party in the Orangerie in Den Bosch. At the party she did not dare to ask his name or telephone number for fear of running a blue, but the man just stayed in her mind. “It clicked like a silly.” An article on Omroep Brabant brought the two together.
“We didn’t talk much at the party, but it felt so good,” Emma said a week ago about that evening on 24 May. “We had danced together, against each other. I felt at ease with him. His appearance and energy were great. It just felt good.” That is why afterwards she had ‘horrible regret’ that she had not passed on on the evening herself.
She decided to place a call via the Instagram account of early peaks hoping to get in touch with the man who had made such a crushing impression on her. That didn’t yield anything, but the article on Omroep Brabant moved everything.
“I was flooded with reactions after that article,” Emma said on Monday morning in the radio program ‘Keeigoeiemorgen!’ On Omroep Brabant. “It was pretty overwhelming, it was really a lot.”
“Within five minutes I had an app from him.”
Between those reactions were several men who wondered if Emma was looking for them. But in the end a friend of her dream man – his name keeps Emma – made sure that he and Emma came into contact with each other.
“She had read the story on the Facebook page of Omroep Brabant and said to him:” Gosh, I think this is you. “He then contacted the editor of the article. She then approached me with the question: May I give your number? Well, within five minutes I had an app from him and we were appealing and video calling.
The click she felt was the same as the end of May. “Yes, I hadn’t imagined that,” says Emma happily. And that click turns out to be mutual. “Now a date is planned. We don’t have the exact interpretation yet.
