Eminem starts the new year with a diss against rapper 6ix9ine

The new year is not even a month over and already the next round of beef between Eminem and Tekashi 6ix9ine is announced.

Cordae’s song “Parable Remix” was released on Friday (January 14th), in which Eminem also raps a verse. In it, the 49-year-old takes on 6ix9ine again. He raps, “Shit’ll make you wanna cop out like a plea deal / So I treat a beat like it’s Tekashi, spit on that bitch like Meek Mill” like a plea deal / So I treat a beat like it’s Tekashi, spit on the bitch like Meek Mill.”

On the track “Zeus,” Eminem fired his first diss at 6ix9ine

The line references both Tekashi’s plea deal with the FBI, which saw the 25-year-old rapper avoid a life sentence, and the dispute between 6ix9ine and Meek Mill in February 2021, when the two musicians got into a parking lot in front of a club in Atlanta and Meek Mill spat in 6ix9ine’s face.

The line is not Eminem’s first diss against the young rapper. On the track “Zeus” of his latest album MUSIC TO BE MURDERED BY – SIDE B he teases: “She says I am trash, but she listens to Tekashi (damn) / Bitch you lost me (yeah)”. She says I’m trash, but listen, Tekashi, bitch, you lost me.”

Tekashi has made himself particularly unpopular in the rap scene over the past year

Tekashi 6ix9ine, who became known worldwide with the hit GUMMO, made himself particularly unpopular in the rap scene and beyond last year: After the rapper was threatened with up to 47 years in prison for illegal gun possession and involvement in an armed robbery, he took part he signed a so-called “plea deal” with the FBI and testified about other gang members and fellow rappers. After 20 months in prison, he was released from prison because of his asthma in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
