THE8 June 2026, Emily Blunt walked the red carpet of the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York for the American premiere of Disclosure DaySteven Spielberg’s new film out in theaters on June 10th. At her side, her husband John Krasinski. On me, a haute couture creation by Tamara Ralph from the Spring Summer 2026 collectionadapted for the occasion by stylist Jessica Paster. One of those red carpet looks that they dialogue perfectly with the film that the star is presenting to the world.

Emily Blunt’s sculpture dress for Disclosure Day

The top of the dress is a semi-transparent sculptural bodice, crossed by vertical ribs in gold and ivory which fan out towards the shoulders and end with a peplum cut, accentuating the waistline. On the back, a crossed string closure completes the craftsmanship with haute couture attention to detail.

Below, the skirt completely changes tone. White satin with a pearly finish, mermaid cut, light train on the back. The fluidity of the bottom balances the rigid structure of the top, and the contrast works exactly as it should: without either element overpowering the other. Compared to the catwalk version – which featured a cloak with a long train – Blunt chose a more essential look. More suitable for the red carpet, more centered on the bodice.

Calibrated accessories

For jewellery, the choice fell on Mikimoto: South Sea pearl earrings, Akoya pearl bracelet and coordinated ring, three pieces that speak to each other without overlapping. At the feet, Gianvito Rossi shoes. Wavy hair to the shoulders, bright make-up with a bronzed note on the cheekbones. A color palette – ivory, gold, pearly white – that runs through the entire look from head to toe.

Spielberg’s look and film speak to each other

Disclosure Day follows Margaret Fairchild, a television meteorologist played by Emily Blunt, who during a live broadcast undergoes a psychic mutation sudden that connects her to a presence of non-human origin. From that moment, together with a young man with similar abilities and a cybersecurity expert on the run with top secret files, he will have to survive spies and corporations while the world finds itself dealing with a truth kept hidden for decades. Spielberg returns to science fiction for the first time since 2018signing a conspiracy thriller that has already received the first enthusiastic reviews.

The corset with geometric ribs that open towards the shoulders, the semi-transparent texture that captures and reflects the light: it is difficult not to read a visual reference to the film. Emily Blunt and her stylist Jessica Paster have been using the method dressing as a narrative extension of the characterand this time too the operation succeeds perfectly.
