Eleven of the 23rd Bundesliga matchday: Kane celebrates his second half debut

Harry Kane made it into the Bundesliga matchday eleven for the first time in his sixth attempt in the second half of the season. The FC Bayern striker received the most votes from the TM community after his brace in the 2-1 win against RB Leipzig. He had previously missed the nomination despite scoring three goals in five games. In addition to the Englishman, three other Munich players, Matthijs De Ligt, Jamal Musiala and Manuel Neuer, made it into the top eleven.

In the table, Bayern reduced the gap to leaders Bayer 04 Leverkusen to eight points after the Werkself moved ahead to eleven points on Friday evening. The narrow 2-1 win against Mainz 05 was not the best performance of the season for Xabi Alonso’s team, but according to users, four professionals stood out: full-back tight end Alejandro Grimaldo and Jeremie Frimpong, who almost had a subscription this season the match day eleven, as well as goalscorer Granit Xhaka and preparer Florian Wirtz.

The two top clubs are therefore responsible for eight of the eleven players, although other clubs such as Borussia Mönchengladbach achieved much higher victories. Of the foals, only Nathan Ngoumou was chosen alongside trainer Gerardo Seoane. The Frenchman scored the opening goal in the 5-2 win against VfL Bochum and also made it 3-0.

The remaining two positions go to double packer Maximilian Beier, who turned the deficit against Borussia Dortmund to a 3-2 win for TSG Hoffenheim, and Felix Uduokhai. The Augsburg central defender scored the equalizer against SC Freiburg and played a key role in the 2-1 win with a strong defensive performance.
