A couple fell victim to a violent robbery in Valkenswaard in August. Bureau Brabant has now made a reconstruction of the robbery and shows images of the possible robbers. The police hope that people who know more will come forward.
The 83-year-old resident of the house on Grevenschutweg in Valkenswaard came face to face with a robber just after midnight on August 9. He got into a fight with the suspects and was injured. His wife was also injured in the robbery. The man managed to chase the robbers out of his house. He and his wife were taken to hospital.
A description of only one of the perpetrators is known. He is probably light-skinned, about 25 years old and 1.70 tall. Both robbers wore dark hoodies and one of them had a face mask on. After the robbery, the robbers disappeared without a trace.
At Bureau Brabant you can see images of the robbers. They had already been spotted around the house a few days before the robbery and filmed by a neighbour. There, too, the boy wears a hood and a face mask. The other boy is better seen here.
Anyone who recognizes (one of) the perpetrators, or may have information that leads to the perpetrators, is asked to contact the police.
