Eintracht Frankfurt’s coaching plan revealed – agreement with FC Bayern in sight?

Eintracht Frankfurt will apparently soon present Dino Toppmöller as the new head coach. The former assistant coach of FC Bayern is to inherit Oliver Glasner from Hessen.

As “Bild” reports, the SGE plans to wrap up the Toppmöller commitment early next week.

With the son of the former Bundesliga coach Klaus Toppmöller, everything has long since been clarified. The agreement with FC Bayern is still pending.

Because: Dino Toppmöller, who was released at the end of March together with his former superior Julian Nagelsmann in Munich, still has an ongoing contract at Säbener Straße – and FC Bayern is demanding a transfer fee for the 42-year-old.

Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt are currently still haggling over the amount of this payment. FC Bayern had originally allegedly called 500,000 euros for Toppmöller. According to the report, the agreement should ultimately only be 250,000 euros.

Toppmöller is said to enjoy great support from those responsible for Eintracht Frankfurt. Both sports director Markus Krösche and the new sports director Timmo Hardung are “completely convinced” of their preferred candidate, with whom they had previously worked at RB Leipzig.

That’s what Eintracht Frankfurt hopes for from Dino Toppmöller

In particular, it is hoped that Toppmöller will bring the many young players in the Frankfurt squad to a new level. However, Eintracht will be his first head coaching job in a major league.

Ansgar Knauff is one player that Toppmöller should develop further according to the SBU bosses. The permanent transfer of the previous loan player from Borussia Dortmund to Hesse has not yet been officially confirmed.

According to “Sport1” there should now be an agreement between the clubs. Accordingly, four to five million euros flow into the BVB account.
