Eintracht Frankfurt wants to show reaction

Coach Dino Toppmöller wants to lead Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt back to success with more ease.

“The motto is: more heart, less head,” said Toppmöller before the home game against VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday (3:30 p.m./DAZN).

After the exit from the Conference League against the Belgian first division club Union Saint-Gilloise, the Hessians should go into the game against Wolfsburg with “fun, enthusiasm and joy”. “We want to leave our hearts on the pitch and think a little less,” said Toppmöller.

At Saint-Gilloise they “saw the desire to win,” said the Frankfurt coach: “For us it was the fear of losing.” They now want to “show a good reaction” against Wolfsburg. Sebastian Rode is out with knee problems.
