Would be record access of the Magpies

A possible change from Eintracht striker Hugo Ekitiké (23) to Newcastle United could soon get going. As reported on Sunday evening, the Magpies sent an official offer for the French towards Frankfurt on Sunday evening. It was about 75 million euros, as “The Athletic” reported. However, an agreement is still distant, which is logical, because after transfer market information there has been no official contact with regard to Ekitiké between the clubs. However, our editorial team also earned that something is moving on the part of the English.

Newcastle is said to have Ekitiké on the slip of paper for a while and provide for Alexander Isak (25) as a storm partner. The Swedes would displace Ekitiké at least at the cost. The 70 million euros, which the Magpies paid in 2022 to Real Sociedad for Isak, have so far been the record -proof of the financially strong club. Ekitiké exceeded this number in the market value in June, and that in the case of a very long -term contract that runs until 2029. Eintracht therefore has an excellent starting position for the negotiations if the clubs will soon negotiate with each other. That hasn’t happened yet.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s sports board member Markus Krösche had indicated a few weeks ago that the time of Eintracht at Eintracht could end after one and a half years. “He is one of the most interesting strikers on the European market,” stated Krösche at “Sport1”. “Hugo has to decide. I am glad that we have him. If he decides differently, this is our credo: if a player develops faster than we do, let’s let him pull it.”
Team colleague Timothy Chandler said that Ekitiké did not stop despite a view of a change to the best league in the world: “He is accelerating. You really have to say. And he says: If something happens, something happens-if not,” emphasized Chandler according to “Bild” newspaper. “He is a very, very good boy. And I also know, even if he ends up with it, he also gets in here.”
