Europa League winner Eintracht Frankfurt has apparently chosen an attacker from league competitor Bayer Leverkusen as the player of choice for the attack.
As “kicker” and “Frankfurter Rundschau” unanimously report, the Hessians are making intensive efforts to get Lucas Alario’s services.
The Argentine center forward is said to be available for 6.5 million euros thanks to an exit clause in his contract, which runs until 2024 – a comparatively low price for an actor who has already proven his class both in the Bundesliga and internationally.
Far advanced talks with Eintracht Frankfurt?
Alario’s consulting agency is currently examining the Frankfurt offer, according to the “FR”. The “kicker” reports well advanced talks between the parties.
At Bayer, Alario had a difficult time under head coach Gerardo Seoane last season.
The 29-year-old was only on the pitch for 996 minutes in 33 competitive games across all competitions. After all, Alario scored seven goals during this time – a respectable rate.
Overall, the 1.84 meter tall man has scored 58 goals and provided 16 assists in 163 competitive games for the Werkself.
