Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt will have to do without defender Christopher Lenz for the time being due to a muscle injury.
According to the club, the left-back suffered a torn fascia. The club thus confirmed coach Oliver Glasner’s fears that the 27-year-old would be absent for the time being.
Der Lenz was substituted at halftime on Wednesday evening in the Champions League game against Sporting Lisbon (0:3) with a thigh injury.
Lenz will miss both the Bundesliga home game against VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday and the Champions League away game at Olympique Marseille next Tuesday. The left-back was replaced by Luca Pellegrini against Sporting.
