Eintracht Frankfurt and Almamy Touré go their separate ways

contract expires

Eintracht Frankfurt and Almamy Touré go their separate ways at the end of the season. The expiring contract of the 27-year-old central defender will not be extended. Touré moved from AS Monaco to SGE in January 2019 for €750,000, for whom he played a total of 80 games (three goals). In the current season, however, the defender, who was part of the Europa League winning team in 2022, has only been used eight times.

“Almamy has experienced a lot with Eintracht in recent years and you could always count on him when he was needed. Of course, the triumph in Seville will always be remembered, where he was also on the pitch and made his contribution. We are very grateful to him for this and wish him all the best in his future career,” said sporting director Markus Krösche.
