At Eintracht Frankfurt everything currently revolves around Omar Marmoush and his upcoming move to Manchester City. Aside from what is probably the biggest Bundesliga transfer this winter, the SGE could soon lose another regular player. Tuta has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce in Turkey.

According to Turkish transfer reporter Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, there is already an agreement between the two clubs about the move. Tuta is tied to Frankfurt until 2026 and would accordingly bring in a transfer fee. The amount of this is not mentioned in the report. It is also still unclear whether the player himself would like to go to second place in the Süper Lig. The contract with Fenerbahce still needs to be negotiated.
Update 4:25 p.m: According to a report by the Brazilian news platform “UOL”, Fenerbahce has made an offer of 10 million euros for Tuta’s services in Frankfurt. The sum would put the defender in the top 10 of Eintracht’s most expensive sales.
Tuta, who has been at the club since January 2019, was long considered a candidate for departure from Eintracht, but took on an important role this season. Until the winter break, the 25-year-old Brazilian was in the starting line-up in 21 of 25 games, only missing towards the end with a calf problem. At the beginning of the month there was even talk of a possible contract extension.
“I love this club and I feel incredibly comfortable here,” Tuta emphasized at the beginning of December. “But of course I also have big goals in my career. I have to see what is best for me and my family. I am now “I’ve been here in Frankfurt for five years and I’ll see what the best solution is for me. My goal is of course to always play internationally. I want to continue playing in one of the top five leagues.”
If Marmoush and Tuta are sold, Frankfurt could become the first club in Bundesliga history to approach the 100 million mark in terms of revenue. The Egyptian is expected to bring in around 80 million euros, Tuta’s market value is currently 15 million euros. Borussia Dortmund achieved the largest income in a winter transfer window in 2017/18 (74.5 million).
