Eintracht Braunschweig binds coaches until 2025

24 hours before the northern duel at Hamburger SV, second division soccer team Eintracht Braunschweig extended the expiring two-year contract with coach Michael Schiele. The Lower Saxony announced this on Saturday.

“We are convinced that we can continue to develop our team together with Michael,” said sporting director Peter Vollmann. The 44-year-old coach said: “I feel completely at home in the club and in the city.”

In his first season with the North Germans, Schiele and his team managed to return to the second division immediately. Braunschweig is currently in 14th place in the table.
