The murder of Nils “Einár” Grönberg is still unsolved.

19-year-old rapper Nils “Einár” Grönberg was shot dead on October 21, 2021. The crime, which happened in Hammarby Sjöstad, Stockholm, is still unsolved.
Einár’s mother, actress Lena Nilsson told Swedish radio In an interview with Söndagsintervjunn for the first time since the murder.
– I heard the shots, I was at home and I heard the shots. I had the fan on so I thought… It was like there were fireworks. Then I thought, ‘no, those are shots,'” Nilsson said in the interview.
Nilsson went to the balcony and heard some people talking about how terrible it is when the area has been shot and someone is lying on the ground. This made Nilsson leave his apartment.
– I saw him lying down, I saw his eyes. He didn’t look dead, but I could tell he was dead. I thought I’d talk to him because I know… Or I’ve heard that the last sense to go is hearing. I thought I’d talk to him if he could hear and tell him I’m there and I love him.
Nilsson says that he met his son the day before the murder. Einár had gone to his room at that time. When Nilsson woke up, Einár was no longer in his room and Nilsson got the feeling that he would never see his son again.
Nilsson later called Einár, who reassured his mother and said he would stay at his friend’s for the night.
– I called again because I felt I wasn’t going to see him, and then I spoke to him. And that was the last time I talked to him.
Nilsson said the grief will never go away and she misses her son every day. However, he has received help from people. Strong faith has also been safe.
– The grief started then and it continues. And it’s the same. It’s huge and big, the whole event is so horrible. It will always be like that, and you have to learn to live with it.

So Einár’s murder is still unsolved, but the police believe it is related to criminal networks.
The police have speculated that the motive for the act was revenge. It is suspected that the reason for the revenge would be that a criminal network considered Einár to have done something particularly wrong towards them.
Einár himself had been fraternizing with different criminal networks for years, and he himself had committed crimes.
According to the Swedish police, several gangsta rappers were jealous of Einár, and they felt that Einár himself was not “ghetto” enough.
The police have previously said that they have confirmed that Einár’s shooting was a contract job, the shooting was filmed on a phone and this video was then sent to the person who commissioned the murder.
