Edwin van der Sar transferred to Dutch hospital: situation unchanged

Edwin van der Sar is back in the Netherlands. He was transferred from Croatia to an intensive care unit in the Netherlands, Ajax announced today on behalf of his wife.

His situation has not changed: stable, out of danger and approachable. Van der Sar still has to stay in the ICU in the Netherlands where he will be examined further. The Van der Sar family thanks the University Hospital of Split for the good care last week.

The former general director of Ajax suffered a cerebral hemorrhage in Croatia during his holiday. He was taken to hospital by helicopter and has been in ICU ever since.
