The trial against former football commentator Eddy Snelders (65) will start in Antwerp on January 28. Although he strongly opposed the charges of sexual assault and possession of images of child sexual abuse during the investigation, Snelders did not appeal against the fact that the council chamber also referred him to criminal court for these facts.
