Ed Sheeran, cover hero of our exclusive digital cover story, will be giving his only Germany concert of the year on April 17th in front of not even fans in the Admiralspalast in Berlin.
On Thursday (March 30) there was an exclusive pre-sale, on Friday (March 31) regular tickets could be purchased. At least in theory. Because, as numerous fans of the musician reported on Twitter, the pre-sale ended after just 30 seconds and all tickets were completely sold out. No presale code helped either.
1- tickets for 115€ (very high for a close venue)
2- 1800 people capacity venue (he’s a stadium sold out artist 1800 is just gig for him)
3- soldout in 30 seconds (even ppl who have presale code couldn’t purchase)

Wow! #edsheeran 04/17 already sold out. Cool thing, #eventim
The page had a glitch at 10 am sharp, had to go through the main page. after less than 30 seconds in the waiting room it was sold out. Happy life to everyone who resells their tickets. 😎— Crimson Illusion (@CrimsonIllusio1) March 31, 2023
It was clear from the outset that the tickets for Sheeran, who otherwise performs in stadiums, would be in great demand. However, the gig is initially intended as an appetizer for the new album “Subtract”, a tour will follow. The organizer and the singer’s management warn against buying overpriced tickets from resellers like Viagogo.
