The men’s fashion specialist Eckerle says goodbye to Frankfurt am Main.
The location on the Zeil, the popular shopping street in the Main metropolis, will close at the end of February 2024, the Munich Hirmer Group, to which Eckerle belongs, confirmed to FashionUnited. The specialist magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on it. The retailer says goodbye to the Frankfurt market “for the time being”.
It was not possible to reach an agreement with the landlord on the term and rent that was sustainable in the long term, according to Munich. The search for an alternative location was also unsuccessful due to the process of change in downtown Frankfurt.
Eckerle can still be reached at its locations in Munich, Hanover, Münster, Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Wiesbaden and twice in Augsburg.
