Easy evening for ladies from E&O

HANDBALL – An easy win for the ladies of E&O. At home, ZAP from Breezand won 38-24. E&O is now tenth in the First Division with 13 points from 16 games.

From minute one, the Emmen took matters into their own hands. Soon there was a 7 point lead on the scoreboard and it was not given away in the entire game. “Offensively we did well and in the counter-attack we always came out quickly,” says Jan Gerald Mulder, E&O coach. Little by little, E&O managed to extend their lead, winning by a whopping 14 points.

“I have a selection that is very talented. That promises a lot for the coming years,” said Mulder. The average age of the ladies is around 20 years old, so there is still a lot of potential in the group. Promotion is probably no longer possible this season, but in the long run the ladies of E&O would like to return to the premier league.

Next week, E&O will compete against VELO from Wateringen, which is two places higher in the ranking.
