Early traffic jam on A9 due to poor road surface at Holendrecht junction

A traffic jam has developed on the A9 towards Diemen before the evening rush hour. Rijkswaterstaat reports that one lane has been closed at the Holendrecht junction due to poor road surfaces. That causes a delay of three quarters of an hour.

The traffic jam starts near Aalsmeer. A spokesperson for Rijkswaterstaat told NH that the cause of the poor road surface is not yet clear. “We’re trying to figure that out now.” The road surface will be repaired late this evening.
