In addition to the Fiorentina striker, Ciro Ferrara and Andrea Ranocchia were also present at the event
New fields, old values. Solidarity, friendship, sportsmanship. EA Sports FC and Lega Calcio Serie A inaugurated the new pitch in the parish of Santa Maria Ausiliatrice in Milan, allowing dozens of children to meet Ciro Ferrara, Andrea Ranocchia and, above all, Moise Kean, idol of gamers also thanks to his song “Bombay”, which became the soundtrack of FC 26.

The new pitch in Milan is the 21st built by EA Sports globally. Thanks to the FC Futures project, the sports videogame giant has been investing in grassroots football for some time with the aim of broadening access to the world of football and encouraging long-lasting involvement in the game. “You are lucky to be able to train in a place like this – Ferrara explained to the children -. In my day we played in the street, at least on clay pitches with goals without nets. Enjoy the moment!”. Ranocchia also agrees, enthusiastic about having participated in the project: “In an era in which online takes over, building places like this is a hymn to friendship, growth and connection.”

Between extravagant celebrations, hits from the rap world and applause-worthy skills both on the pitch and in video games, Moise Kean was the most acclaimed of the guests. The Fiorentina striker presented a new kit inspired by his song “Bombay”, a purple shirt that was worn by both him and the children. “I grew up in the oratory, I know what it feels like to be here”, is Moise’s comment. Thanks to the tip of the national team, the event in Milan was transformed into a marriage between football, music and friendship. “Supporting football from the grassroots, starting from the suburban pitches, is essential to encourage the growth of the champions and fans of the future,” declared Lega Calcio Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo.
