E.ON raised fresh money on the bond market. As the energy supplier announced, it has issued two bonds worth 1.6 billion euros.
A bond with a volume of 750 million euros has a term of eight years and has a coupon of 3.448 percent. The other bond is a green bond worth 850 million euros with a term of twelve years and a coupon of 3.895 percent.
“With today’s bond issue, we have secured part of our financing needs for 2026 at an early stage, which we expect to be in the usual range of 3.5 to 5 billion euros,” said E.ON CFO Nadia Jakobi.
In XETRA trading, E.ON shares temporarily lost 1.66 percent to 16.59 euros.
