Houten seemed to be the parent in extra time, after the exciting cup match in regular playing time. The visitors were more accurate than E & O/Hurry-Up and ran out to a 33-36 lead. But the combination team of Emmenaren and Zwartemeerders fought back in extra time and again breathed down the visitors’ neck. E & O/Hurry-Up came back to 37-39 and 38-39 and probably could have struck more often. But the home team had no time for that. The duel was over with top team Houten as the lucky winner.
