FOOTBALL – DZOH lost two points in the make-up game against The Knickerbockers. The leader of the Saturday 2nd class J did not go further than 1-1 against the students.
Tom Hiemstra gave the club from Emmen the lead just before half-time and Tobias Stel equalized twenty minutes before the end. Five minutes later, coach Bert Doldersum’s team had an excellent opportunity to take the lead again, but Joel Zweerink saw his penalty kick stopped by the goalkeeper of The Knickerbockers.
DZOH remains frontrunner
Despite the draw, DZOH remains the leader in the 2nd division J with 31 points from 13 duels. Pursuer Gorecht follows with 25 out of 12.
Next Saturday DZOH will visit the neighbors of Drenthina.
