DZOH makes no mistake against closing

FOOTBALL – In the 2nd division J, the leader made no mistake. On their own field, the team of trainer Bert Doldersum won 3-1 against NEC Delfzijl. the last in this class.

With 29 points from 11 matches, DZOH is still unbeaten and the lead on number 2, Gorecht, is five points. Gorecht was supposed to play against SC Elim today, but that game was canceled due to a death at the Drenthe club. LTC, which won 0-2 at Achilles 1894, is 3rd with 22 out of 11.

The game in Emmen was decided a few minutes before and after the break. Shortly before tea, Aaron Timmerman opened the score and shortly after the snack Tim Aasman doubled the score: 2-0.

When Yorick Zweerink made it 3-0 in the 57th minute, the game was over. Dani Schuijl saved the honor for the guests.

Drenthina beats Gramsbergen

Drenthina took three points against Gramsbergen. In Emmen it was 3-0 for the home club. All goals came before halftime. Janiek Arends and Thom Alders twice were accurate.

Alders scored his two goals within five minutes. In the 40th minute he made it 2-0 and barely five minutes later he finally closed the game.

Twelve minutes before the end, the guests, who managed to win 2-4 at LTC last week, had to continue with ten men after a red card for Gerwen Reinders.

With the win, Drenthina climbs to ninth place with 12 points from 10 matches.

Major defeats De Weide and FC Meppel

Low flyers De Weide and FC Meppel suffered a major defeat in the 2nd division J. The team from Hoogeveen lost 5-1 at Bedum, while FC Meppel went up the beet bridge at DESZ with 4-1. For De Weide Jasper Strijker scored (2-1) and for FC Meppel Brian van der Zweerde was the goalscorer (3-1).

De Weide is below the relegation line with 6 points from 11 matches (NEC Delfzijl is last with 5 out of 11). FC Meppel is in a promotion/relegation spot with 8 out of 11.
