Dybala and the first hat-trick against Roma: “Dedicated to the fans. Future? I’m enjoying the moment”

Seventh hat-trick in his career and fourth in Serie A for the Argentine in front of his girlfriend Oriana in the stands: “After the 2-1 I went towards the bench, I saw De Rossi and I hugged him. Future? I’m enjoying the moment”

Emanuele Zotti

– Rome

He took the ball home after giving the shirt to the fans and above all the victory to Roma and Daniele De Rossi. We are obviously talking about Paulo Dybala, author of his best performance of the season against Juric’s Turin. An evening that Joya will hardly forget, not only for the weight of the victory achieved but above all for the first hat-trick scored in the Giallorossi shirt with the penalty kick converted in the first half, the rabbit pulled out of the hat with a ballistic feat at the start of the second half and the third seal arrived thanks to Lukaku’s assist. All under the eyes of her Oriana, present in the stands together with her mother.

HISTORY

For Paulo, this is the seventh hat-trick of his career, the fourth scored in Serie A. He scored the first three in the league with Juventus, all in the 2017-18 season: one against Genoa (with a penalty), one another against Benevento (two penalties) and the last in the Mapei Stadium match against Sassuolo. The other hat-trick in black and white was the one scored in the Champions League in October 2018 in Turin against Young Boys while the first two ever date back to 2011-12 in Primera B Nacional (the Argentine Serie B) with the shirt of the Instituto de Cordoba.

DEDICATION

At the end of the match then came the dedication to the Giallorossi fans via a post published on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of the celebration with the now classic ‘Dybala mask’: “This hat-trick is for all of you fans who support us in every match . Thanks to my teammates. Great team victory. Come on Rome”. Then the statements to Dazn’s microphones: “I’ve been waiting for this hat-trick for a while, I already wanted it against Cagliari but I was replaced. I didn’t look for it today but it arrived anyway. I’m happy because it helped us win the match, after Torino’s draw it could have ended in any way. On the occasion of the 2-1 I wanted to kick and luckily it went in. I went to the bench and the first one I saw was De Rossi and I hugged him.” However, Paulo does not say anything about his future despite his agreement with Roma expiring in 2025: “When I arrived I said I was living another life in this city. I don’t know what will happen in the future, but I’m enjoying every moment with this wonderful team.” however, there is no doubt about where to keep the ball from today’s match: “I always take the balls to mum’s house otherwise she’ll get angry.”
