The new list is an initiative of the March 30 Movement – which refers to protests of March 30, 1976, when Palestinians demanded their right to land and six demonstrators were shot dead by the Israeli army. The new movement strives for the recognition of the genocide in Gaza and opposes “the genocidal and colonial apartheid regime in Palestine.”
With his list, Abou Jahjah also wants to oppose all forms of discrimination, Islamophobia and anti-Semitism, he reports to news site ‘Bruzz’. Decolonization, the fight against corruption and inequality and the central role of the family would also be important points for the list. He does not yet know whether Abou Jahjah will draw the list.
