Under supervision, the takeover process was initiated, with a coach offering support. Fleur: “Every two months we sat together. I, Koen, my parents and the coach. Then you get a mirror, about your way of responding and the choices you make.” The lessons she attracted? “That mum and dad thought about everything. I have become more thoughtful. It is sometimes good to think before you make a choice or appeal to someone.”

After a period of learning and refining, Fleur and Koen have been at the helm for a year and three months. The official transfer follows on April 4, but noticeable changes will not cause that. “As it is now, things are going well,” says Fleur. “We too have faith,” Mark adds. “They already have more experience than when we started.”
