One Red (2024)
A family Christmas blockbuster in which the actor feels perfectly at ease. His role, obviously, is that of a hero ready to do anything to do the right thing. When Santa Claus (called in code Red One) The head of security at the North Pole is kidnapped (Johnson) he has a few days to find it. The risk? Ruining Christmas forever for children all over the world. A very high budget for a story lacking in ideas which, despite the excellent protagonist, it fails to become a holiday cult.
The smashing machine (2025)
Literally the role of a lifetime for the actor who, to transform into MMA legend Mark Kerr, has undergone an incredible transformation physics. The film directed by Benny Safdie, based on a true story, recounts in documentary tones the rise and fall of a champion in the 1990s of sport but fragile in private life. A fighting machine increasingly dependent on drugs and success.
