Dutchman Bert Natter wins the Libris Literature Prize 2026 with ‘At the end of the war’

Dutch writer Bert Natter wins the Libris Literature Prize 2026 for ‘At the end of the war’. The novel follows dozens of characters and takes place in one day in a German concentration camp. The jury describes the book as “a true tour de force”. Natter receives 50,000 euros and a bronze medal.
