Dutch passenger shot at in Düsseldorf taxi: targeted attack on drug baron’s cousin

The occupant of a taxi that came under fire in the center of Düsseldorf on Tuesday appears to be Dutch. The public prosecutor in that German city confirmed this to the dpa news agency. Most likely it concerns influencer Cagdas Baybasin, nephew of a Kurdish-Dutch drug baron. According to the regional newspaper Rheinische Post, it was a targeted attack.
