Dutch fashion retailer Shoeby wants to expand to Germany

Dutch fashion retailer Shoeby wants to expand to Germany, Shoeby’s Sophie Duijts tells Dutch news platform Emerce Retail. Entry into the German market is scheduled for this year.

“We are already represented in twelve countries via marketplaces such as Zalando, and we are with Wehkamp in the Netherlands,” says Duijts. “So we have already received orders from Germany. We will launch our own online shop in a month, the first shops are planned for the fall.”

Shoeby already has 240 stores in the Netherlands, its own web shop and is represented on various platforms. “We want to be where our customers are.”

In addition to Germany, Scandinavia is also mentioned as an interesting market for the company due to the clothing preferences of consumers.
