Dutch economy has had a strong year: ‘People are more and more in the wallet’

The Dutch economy grew by 0.9% in 2024 after two years of standstill. This year, economists count on further improving growth, partly because households have more to spend. A possible trade war in particular can throw a spanner in the works, although the Dutch economy can strikingly benefit in the short term.
