The 27-year-old Dutch tourist who died in a Colombian restaurant on Thursday was hit by a bullet intended for a Brazilian drug trafficker. Colombian media and the French news agency reported that AFP Thursday evening based on a statement from the Colombian police.
According to local police, Afonso Celso Caldas de Lima was the target of the shooting. He also died in the shooting. The man was in a restaurant when two gunmen entered and opened fire. The Dutch tourist was sitting at a table near him. A Brazilian woman was also killed and two other people were injured.
