Braunschweig missed it to take a big step towards relegation. Eintracht has been unbeaten for six games, but the lead over the relegation relegation place is only three points. Braunschweig coach Daniel Schering said the sports show: “The point is not enough for us today. We have left many options.”

Fortuna could have drawn with a victory on points with SC Paderborn on the promotion relegation rank, but now remains two points behind. “To die too much, too little for life”, said Düsseldorf coach Daniel Thioune the sports show when he was asked for an analysis.

Braunschweig the clearly better team

Braunschweig was to look at self -confidence from the past games from the start. Because in the first half hour only the hosts played. In the fourth minute, Lino Tempelmann had the early tour on his foot, but was still decisively disturbed by Fortuna keeper Florian Kastenmeier.

Ultimately, it was a standard that brought the deserved Braunschweig lead: Jaeckel prevailed against Tim Oberdorf in a free kick by Sven Köhler and headed 1-0 for Eintracht (22nd).

That was the wake -up call that Fortuna had used, because after half an hour the guests also found the game. In the 35th minute, Isak Johanesson almost took care of the equalization, but Ron-Thorben Hoffman parried artistically parried in the Eintracht goal.

Düsseldorf’s GAVORY meets after 47 seconds

After the break, it didn’t take long before Düsseldorf was allowed to cheer. 76 seconds were played when the ball over Myron van Brederode and Shinta Appelkamp landed at Gavory. The defense lawyer put the ball and hit the left lower corner from ten meters of central position (47th).

However, Eintracht answers promptly. Just five minutes later, Philippe centrally came to the ball in front of the Düsseldorf penalty area and took advantage of the place that was a place. His low shot from 18 meters hit the right corner (52nd).

Philippe almost went on it, but Kastenmeier prevented the double pack with a strong reflex (58th). That should have been 3-1.

Zimmermann overcomes Braunschweig’s Hoffmann by Heber

And so it came as it had to come: with a simple long ball, the Fortuna levered the harmony. Substitute Jona Niemec put it on Zimmermann, the Hoffmann overflowed by lifter – 2: 2.

The game was now completely open. Both teams played for victory. The biggest chance had the harmony: Philippe was free, but failed from a pointed angle to Kastenmeier (83.).
