Dürr increases dividend significantly

BIETIGHEIM-BISSINGEN (dpa-AFX) – The mechanical engineering company Dürr wants to pay its shareholders significantly more dividends after a jump in profits last year. 70 cents per share are to be distributed, which corresponds to an increase of 40 percent, as Dürr announced in Bietigheim-Bissingen on Wednesday.

“We did well in 2022 and were able to increase earnings despite supply chain problems and high material costs. Our shareholders should participate in this positive development,” said CEO Jochen Weyrauch according to the announcement.

Last year, Dürr had achieved record sales of 4.3 billion euros, after-tax profit had climbed to 134.3 million. The company benefits from topics such as sustainability, e-mobility and automation. Dürr also expects growth in sales and profitability for the current year./nas/jha/
