A message for all those new vmbo first graders who saw their old friends leave for havo or vwo last week, while they themselves had to go to vmbo: education level means nothing, absolutely nothing. One is not necessarily more promising than the other. Brian Kamies (31) from Hellevoetsluis is once again a living example that perseverance is much more important than being able to learn well by chance.
