RRome, 15 Jan. (askanews) – The images show elephants splashing in a river swollen by heavy rain near Hoedspruit and the waters that flooded the Letaba Rest Camp in the famous Kruger National Park in South Africawhile authorities have ordered evacuations and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected in the affected area.

At least 10 people have died in the floods caused by torrential rains in north-eastern South Africa; the authorities have decided to close the Kruger National Park.
